About Us
Performance Play Music School was founded by brothers Dan and Joel Menchey to create a welcoming, “Mom-friendly” learning environment where students of all ages can enjoy music education in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
Whether you're a beginner exploring music for the first time or an experienced musician looking to grow your skills, our school offers engaging lessons and performance opportunities designed to build confidence and creativity.
Meet the Founders
Dan Menchey the General Manager and Music Director of Performance Play. Known for his creativity and energetic personality, Dan has over a decade of experience teaching drums and performing throughout Colorado, including several national tours.
Joel Menchey the owner of Menchey Music Service, an 8-store school music chain serving Pennsylvania and Maryland since 1995. Alongside his business background, Joel has also performed as an acoustic artist in Central Pennsylvania since the 1990s.
